Cervelli Real Estate & Property Management helps manage re-positioning of Suncrest Village

North Bergen, N.J. (June 2019) – Cervelli Real Estate & Management is pleased to announce that it has been managing a 344-unit multifamily community in Manchester, N.J. during re-positioning of the asset. Cervelli was awarded the management in December for the property that has been renamed Suncrest Village.

“We are very excited to be part of this transformation,” said Michael Cervelli, President of Cervelli Real Estate & Property Management. “Our management team has partnered with new ownership to implement a plan to revitalize the asset with stronger management and property improvements aimed at increasing income and tenant retention, while also reducing expenses.”

Renovation work is focused on upgrading interior spaces and adding new finishes to existing units that include wood flooring, stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen surfaces and smart thermostats. The property is being converted to a pet friendly community that also includes the installation of a new tot lot and

dog park. The former leasing office was converted to a state-of-the-art fitness center and open space will be better utilized with the addition of new picnic areas. The swimming pool, which has been closed for several seasons, also will be reopened. In addition, Cervelli Real Estate has hired and trained all new staff to handle administrative, leasing and maintenance.

“Work has been ongoing over the past six months, and we are starting to see the fruits of that labor with tenants that are praising the changes that new ownership and management have made,” adds Cervelli.
