Job Position: Property / Portfolio Manager

What’s the role?
We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive and organized property manager that can responsibly manage property (or a group of properties) for our clients. The ideal candidate is professional, efficient, detail oriented team player with the ability to operate independently and understands the manger’s obligations to operate under the terms of the property’s management agreement. You will oversee the coordination and supervision of service providers and are accountable for all on-site property management including resident relations and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for vendor management; bid, negotiate and manage conformity of vendor contracts in accordance with client requirements or Cervelli Management’s contract requirements
- Coordinate and oversee on behalf of client, all tenant and building construction work to ensure timely and accurate completion of all construction and maintenance work at property
- Ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives
- Develop comprehensive annual inspection process for properties; complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual inspections as required for a specific asset, Cervelli Management’s best practices, and/or client requirements
- Maintain communication with third-party owners and accounting team to ensure total contract compliance, including preparation of accurate and timely reporting, analysis of financial statements, budgets, and accurate record keeping
- Create and foster positive relationships with tenants, external clients, and internal clients by preparing for and attending regular meetings
Qualifications
2+ years of real estate property management or related experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of Yardi
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Construction management experience preferred

Requirements:
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of window’s operating system and Microsoft Office

- 2-3 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or similar position
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
